Meet Alida Ballou

Alida Ballou is a Connecticut native, born and raised in Woodbridge, Connecticut. Alida earned her bachelor’s degree from UConn in 2018 before moving to New York City and working as a paralegal for the Supreme Court of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. After spending a lot of time in the City’s courtrooms, Alida fostered a passion for policy issues and addressing root causes of crimes. Alida decided to get her Master’s in Social Work in 2020 and graduated from the UConn School of Social Work in 2022. Alida worked in downtown New York City as a social worker for two years before returning to Connecticut and joining The Ballou Team in 2024.

Alida values service above all else, and prides herself on going above and beyond for her clients in order to achieve the best results. Alida stays up to date on the Connecticut market, policies, trends and recent sale comps in order to provide her clients with the proper knowledge, insight and support throughout every transaction. Alida’s knowledge of law and public policy, along with her extensive experience in advocacy helps her serve clients to the utmost degree.

When she is not working, Alida enjoys long-distance running, singing, traveling, and spending time with her two dogs and large Maine Coon Cat.
